What is a portfolio health score?

The headline number

Smitvi AI shows a 0–100 health score with a letter grade (A+ through D). It is computed from your actual Binance holdings — spot, Earn, and futures — synced via read-only API keys. Unlike generic market fear/greed indexes, the score reflects your allocation, not the whole crypto market.

Six components behind the score

The health engine (formula v1.0) blends six sub-scores with fixed weights. Each sub-score is also shown in the app breakdown so you can see what moved.

• Diversification (20%) — measures how evenly value is spread across assets using entropy. One coin at 90% scores poorly even if you hold many small positions.
• Concentration (20%) — penalizes any single asset above a 25% guideline. See our guide on concentration risk for context.
• Volatility (20%) — weights each asset’s typical price swing. Heavy alt or meme exposure lowers this sub-score versus majors and stables.
• Stablecoin buffer (15%) — compares your stable allocation to a ~30% target. Too little buffer raises drawdown risk; too much may mean under-deployment (paired with yield efficiency).
• Yield efficiency (15%) — tracks how much of your deployable stable buffer earns in Binance Earn versus sitting idle at 0% in spot.
• Asset quality (10%) — tier weighting: stables and majors score higher than mid-cap alts; meme coins score lowest due to speculative risk.

Grades and risk exposure

Scores map to grades: 90+ is A+, 85+ A, 80+ B+, 70+ B, 55+ C, below 55 D. Alongside the health score, Smitvi shows risk exposure — a separate weighted measure of per-asset risk scores. A portfolio can have moderate health but elevated risk if meme allocation is climbing.

What triggers alerts

Smart alerts watch for health scores below 60, concentration above 25%, meme exposure above 5%, and large BTC dominance in your stack. Pro subscribers get daily briefings that explain score changes in plain language — educational context to review on your own schedule.
